Carrot Seed - Early Nantes 2. Popular Carrot variety for early season sowings. Sweet and crunchy root which matures quicker than most carrot varieties. 
 
Sow outdoors March- June ( February for greenhouse or under protection) 1cm deep in light soil. Thin seedlings to 5cm apart. Do not transplant seedlings. In mid summer keep thinning to a minimum and cover seedlings to prevent carrot-fly.
Harvest 10-12 weeks after sowing. Smaller carrots give a sweeter and stronger taste, larger ones better for roasting.
